Step 1 - Contact Me

Buying a home, like anything else, is a process. And like any process, there is an order of operations which you, the home buyer, absolutely MUST follow, if you want to achieve the best outcome, and reach your real estate goals. So what exactly does the “best outcome” mean? The best outcome is you the buyer finding the best home in your desired area, at the best price and with the best terms possible. The reason I say this process “Must,” not “should”…but Must be followed, is because through my experience in selling over 1,500 properties, and working with so many different types of people from all walks of life, I’ve learned that the quickest way to dial in on exactly what a particular buyer wants, whether they’re a first time home buyer, an investor, or anyone in between, is to start with an initial conversation by phone. Step 2 - Face-to-Face Consultation

10 out of 10 times, when I meet with buyers in person, face-to-face at my office for an initial consultation, the entire home-buying process, from start to finish, goes much smoother, and the end result is a very satisfied home buyer. The reason for this, is that meeting face-to-face allows us to cover SO MUCH MORE ground than can be covered by a simple phone call…and don’t even get me started on texts! Don’t get me wrong, I text all the time, but only “after” I’ve established a working relationship with a client, friend, or colleague…otherwise too much vital information gets left out, and much of what was meant to be said gets lost in translation. Although you have the ability to use this website to set up your own searches (the "Buyer's Tutorial on Setting up Searches" video is great for introducing you to some of the awesome functionality of this website), with me at your side to ask the right questions, I'm able able to really help you dial in the search MUCH more precisely, to find you exactly what you're looking for. So if you're serious about buying a home, take the time to meet with me...I promise you it will be worth it! During our face-to-face consultation one “magic question." Step 3 - Get Pre-Approved

The next stage in the buying process is getting you pre-approved for a home loan by a local, direct lender. Luckily, I have good working relationships with the best lenders in Sacramento, who can get you pre-approved in as little as 1 day! Do not mistake the term “pre-qualification” with “pre-approval.” Before even starting the home-hunting process, you absolutely need a pre-approval letter in hand…especially in Sacramento, since the market moves so fast here. Without a pre-approval letter, No Seller will even look at your offer. Once you have your pre-approval letter, you will be armed and ready to submit offers on homes that fit within your budget and search criteria.

 

Step 4 - Find Your Home!

Now that you've met with me for a face-to-face consultation, and received your pre-approval letter, you'll now be ready to begin the home-hunting process. The great thing is, since we will have already narrowed down your criteria based on those factors that are most important to you, and with the limited inventory of homes in the Sacramento area, there won't be all that many homes to view...remember, the home buying process is a process of elimination...I help you to set up your search so that you eliminate all of the homes which don't meet your criteria, thus leaving only the best homes which fit your specific needs. From here, once you find your perfect home, I help you to write a contract which will get accepted, and I then guide you to the finish line, and hand you the keys to your new home!
